Find Router MAC Address

If you have direct access to your router:

  1. Get to your router,
  2. Check for a sticker/description on the back of your router,
  3. Write down the thing labelled MAC Address or Physical address,
  4. That's it! You've got your router's MAC Address.

If you don't have direct access to your router (Windows):

  1. Open cmd.
  2. Enter ipconfig /all and press the enter button.
  3. Find Default Gateway, this is your router's IP address (for example 192.168.1.1).Results of a command in windows command prompt
  4. Write this IP address down or remember it, now enter arp -a <IP_ADDRESS> to get the MAC address of your router.Command prompt arp command results
  5. Good job! You've acquired your router's MAC Address.
