How to choose the best Wi-Fi channel:

  1. Firstly, open the Terminal.Select WiFi Channel D-LINK DSL-5300, step 1.
  2. Then, write this command next to your username: sudo iwlist wlp2s0 scan | grep \(Channel. Select WiFi Channel D-LINK DSL-5300, step 2. Select WiFi Channel D-LINK DSL-5300, step 3.
  3. Enter the password to confirm your identity. Select WiFi Channel D-LINK DSL-5300, step 4.
  4. Now you should see the list with the all channels. The channel showed the least number of times in Terminal is the one you should use with your Wi-Fi router. Select WiFi Channel D-LINK DSL-5300, step 5.
  5. Next, you need to open D-LINK DSL-5300 admin page and change Wi-Fi channel.
  6. Open HardReset.Info main page, and search for D-LINK DSL-5300.
